Gyakran repülök , és minden alkalommal ugyanazzal a problémával szembesülök : az átlagnál nehezebb vagyok , és fizikailag nem férek el egy normál ülésen , hogy ne zavarjam a szomszédomat .
Ezért döntöttem úgy, hogy előre veszek két jegyet , egy ablak melletti és egy mellette lévő helyet választva , hogy ne okozzak senkinek kellemetlenséget .
Leültem az ülésre , bekötöttem a biztonsági övemet, amikor hirtelen egy nő egy kisgyerekkel odajött hozzám . Kérdés nélkül leültette a gyereket a mellettem lévő üres helyre .
Nyugodtan elmagyaráztam , hogy ez a jegy is az enyém , hogy én fizettem érte , és hogy személyes okokból van rá szükségem .
De az asszony hangosan panaszkodni kezdett . – „ Komolyan? Sajnálom a helyet a gyereknek ?!”
„ Jó” szomszédai azonnal csatlakoztak hozzá : – „ De hiszen ez egy gyerek!”
Úgy éreztem , elítélően néznek rám . De tudtam , hogy igazam van . Aztán megtettem , ami véget vetett ennek az előadásnak . Folytatás az első hozzászólásban .
I calmly pressed the flight attendant call button and explained the situation. I showed two boarding passes and added:
” Either you find other seats for this passenger, or I ask you to invite the captain and draw up an official report on interference in paid seats . This is a violation of the rules of carriage.”
Everything happened quickly. The stewardess called the senior flight attendant. After a short conversation with the captain , the woman and her child were taken off the plane . As it turned out, this was not the first time she had pulled such ” tricks” – only she had been lucky before .
As the plane prepared to take off, things finally quieted down around me . A few people even apologized — though most simply looked away .
P.S. I bought two seats because I respect myself and others. And not to ” give in” to those who are used to taking things by storm.
